Spike systems can be used on ledges, roof beams, roof guttering, ridges, parapets and pipes. Spikes systems provide an excellent solution to bird control in these areas because they stop pigeons and gulls from landing and roosting
Nets4you Ltd offers a wide range of Prospike™ systems which can be installed easily on to different types of structures - in a variety of shapes. The bases of all Prospike™ systems are made of light but very durable polycarbonate material and have pre-drilled holes – making them easy to screw to the structure. Alternatively they can be glued in place
Spike systems should only be used for pigeons and gulls. They are not recommended for starlings or sparrows. The tips of the spikes are square cut – so they will not cause injury to the birds
Prospike™ strips for PIGEONS are 33.3cm in length and 150mm in height
This equates to 3 strips per Metre, so a 10m long ledge would require 30 strips of Prospike™ (if installed in single file)
