Description

The Climbing Palm is a uniquely designed rope play structure that brings a tropical twist to active outdoor play. Suitable for children aged 6 and above, it combines physical challenges and calm retreat spaces with its blend of ropes, ladders, hammocks and nest baskets.

Children can climb, shimmy, and balance their way around the steel-framed “palm,” then relax under the leafy canopy in one of the suspended honeycomb nest baskets or hammocks. The combination of climbing nets, chimneys and ropes ensures a varied motor skills workout and hours of engaging play.

Crafted with two 6.1m hot-dip galvanised central steel posts wrapped in hemp-coloured rope and braced with a central stainless steel support rope, the Climbing Palm features eight green powder-coated steel crossbeams and four curved aluminium “leaves” covered in PE fabric. A wide variety of climbing and lounging features, including nest baskets, climbing chimneys, and a hammock with anti-roll protection combine strength with sensory play value.
